By now, we’re sure you’ve secured your tickets for the TAB AHG Breakfast with Cameron Smith and the National Governance and Management Congress, and booked your travel and accommodation with CCM Travel. Now, it’s time to start thinking about your visit to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) for the expo itself. Here is everything you need to know.

GETTING THERE
Parking
The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) operates a Southbank parking facility for visitors, guests and the general public. Their car park is conveniently located undercover with direct lift access to the Centre’s convention and exhibition facilities and event spaces. They provide undercover parking for up to 1,500 vehicles to both event guests and the general public. The car park is open 24 hours a day. Should you require assistance, please use the intercom located at the pay stations or exit gates to talk to one of the BCEC’s friendly staff members. Public transport
Getting to BCEC via public transport is easy and efficient with bus, ferry and train options available.
- Train: South Brisbane Railway Station adjacent to the Convention Centre on Grey Street or South Bank Railway Station are the most convenient stations to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
- Bus services: The Cultural Centre Station on Melbourne Street and the South Bank Busway Station corner of Colchester and Tribune Streets are closest to BCEC.
- CityCat & Ferries: The public transport ferries CityCats operate everyday and stop at the South Bank River Terminal on the Clem Jones Promenade. The inner-city ferry travels between the CBD, North Quay and Kangaroo Point, stopping at South Bank Terminal 1 and 2 on the Clem Jones Promenade.

NAVIGATING THE BCEC

MASK MANDATE LIFTED
As of 6pm AEST on Friday March 4, masks are no longer required indoors (except in healthcare settings, residential aged care, disability accommodation, prisons, public transport, airport and on planes).
Venues and events no longer have density limits, but masks are still recommended whenever you can’t social distance.
Under the current Queensland Health Directive, the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre is operating at 100% capacity and requires all those entering the building to be double vaccinated and show proof via the Check in Qld app.
COVID-19 VACCINE REQUIREMENTS
Only fully vaccinated persons or those with an approved medical contraindication (exemption), are currently permitted entry to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC), in accordance with Queensland Health and Social Measures linked to vaccination status Direction issued on December 7.
It is a mandatory requirement that proof of vaccination or medical contraindication is provided prior to entering the venue (printed or electronic).
For seamless entry to the venue your vaccination certificate can be linked to the Check In Qld app and you will be able to scan using the Queensland Government QR code prior to entering the venue.
Anyone unable to provide proof of vaccination or Medical Exemption will not be permitted to enter the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
